Before production begins, our engineering team conducts a thorough Design for Manufacturability (DFM) analysis. We inspect Gerber files, BOM lists, and schematics to identify potential issues such as solder bridging, thermal imbalances, or component footprint mismatches, optimizing the layout for maximum yield.
Using high-precision stencil printers, solder paste is applied to the bare PCB. Immediately following this, 3D Solder Paste Inspection (SPI) systems measure the volume, height, and alignment of the paste deposit, ensuring absolute consistency before component placement.
Automated pick-and-place machines mount surface-mount components (SMD) onto the board at speeds of up to tens of thousands of components per hour. Our lines handle ultra-fine pitch BGAs, uBGAs, QFNs, and micro-passives down to 01005 packages with micrometer-level accuracy.
The populated boards pass through multi-zone reflow ovens. We establish custom thermal profiles for each board design, ensuring that the solder paste melts and solidifies perfectly without overheating sensitive components, preventing issues like tombstoning or cold joints.
Post-reflow, boards undergo 3D Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) to verify component placement, polarity, and solder joint quality. For hidden connections like BGA and QFN pads, we utilize advanced 3D X-Ray (AXI) inspection to detect internal voids, bridging, and solder coverage.
For heavy-duty connectors, power components, and mechanical parts, Through-Hole Technology (THT) is applied. We combine manual dexterity with automated insertion and wave soldering or selective soldering systems to ensure robust mechanical and electrical connections.
Every PCBA is subjected to rigorous testing. In-Circuit Testing (ICT) checks for electrical opens and shorts, while Functional Testing (FCT) simulates the board's real-world operational environment to verify that all circuits, microcontrollers, and interfaces perform exactly as designed.
