Shenzhen STHL is a premier provider of Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) in China. We serve a global clientele across the entire product lifecycle, offering specialized solutions in PCB layout, component sourcing, PCB fabrication, PCBA assembly, cable assembly, box build assembly, and comprehensive reliability testing.
Established in 2006, STHL brings nearly two decades of contract assembly expertise to the table. Our state-of-the-art 10,000 sqm facility is optimized for high-mix, variable-volume production, ensuring that we can scale seamlessly from rapid prototyping to full-scale mass production.
We support mission-critical industries including energy power, telecommunications, automotive, medical, consumer electronics, industrial automation, and security systems. Our global footprint spans over 90 countries and regions, including the USA, Germany, Italy, the UK, Poland, New Zealand, Brazil, Turkey, and South Korea.
Surface Mount Technology (SMT) is the backbone of modern electronics. At STHL, we leverage advanced automated placement systems to handle high-density, fine-pitch components with extreme precision. Our engineering team is highly experienced in managing complex component geometries and thermal profiles.
Our SMT capabilities include:
To guarantee zero-defect manufacturing, we utilize inline 3D AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) and high-resolution X-Ray inspection systems to verify solder joint integrity beneath BGA and QFN packages.
While SMT dominates modern designs, Through-Hole Technology (THT) remains essential for components subject to mechanical stress, high power, or thermal loads. STHL maintains dedicated THT lines to deliver robust mixed-technology assemblies.
Our THT capabilities encompass:
From initial design validation to final box build packaging, STHL offers a complete suite of EMS solutions.
Operating 7 automated SMT lines and 2 DIP/THT lines, we deliver high-yield assembly for prototypes and high-volume runs. Precision reflow and selective wave soldering ensure long-term reliability.
We manufacture high-density interconnect (HDI), multi-layer rigid, flexible, and rigid-flex PCBs. Utilizing premium substrates (FR4, Rogers, metal core) to meet strict impedance and thermal requirements.
Our global supply chain network mitigates component obsolescence and lead-time risks. We source directly from authorized distributors and manufacturers, implementing strict anti-counterfeit testing.
Custom wire harness and cable assemblies designed for harsh environments. We handle crimping, shielding, overmolding, and high-speed data transmission cables with 100% continuity testing.
Complete system integration services. We assemble PCBAs into custom plastic or metal enclosures, integrate displays, route internal cabling, and perform final product packaging and labeling.
Comprehensive quality assurance including ICT (In-Circuit Test), FCT (Functional Circuit Test), environmental stress screening (ESS), and custom test jig development to guarantee field reliability.
How advanced electronics manufacturing drives industrial transformation, energy transition, and smart infrastructure worldwide.
The global transition to clean energy demands highly efficient power conversion systems. STHL manufactures critical PCB assemblies for solar inverters, wind turbine pitch controllers, and battery management systems (BMS) for utility-scale energy storage.
Industry 4.0 relies on real-time data collection and machine-to-machine communication. We provide robust PCBA solutions for programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial gateways, and environmental monitoring sensors.
Aerospace applications demand zero-tolerance for failure. STHL manufactures flight control computer (FCC) assemblies and inertial measurement units (IMUs) that operate reliably under high vibration and thermal shock.
Ensuring regulatory compliance, environmental safety, and localized support for international markets.
We adhere to the most stringent quality management systems to serve highly regulated industries. Our facilities are certified to meet the unique demands of automotive and medical device manufacturing.
STHL is committed to sustainable electronics manufacturing. We ensure all materials and processes comply with international environmental directives.
We offer localized logistics support and flexible shipping arrangements to minimize supply chain disruptions for our global clients.
Adapting to the next generation of electronics manufacturing with advanced materials, automation, and smart factory integration.
As consumer and industrial devices shrink, the demand for High-Density Interconnect (HDI) PCBs increases. STHL is continuously upgrading its SMT lines to handle smaller component sizes (down to 01005 and 008004) and ultra-fine pitch BGAs. We are investing in advanced laser direct imaging (LDI) and vertical plating lines to support microvia technology and stacked vias.
The future of EMS lies in automation and data-driven quality control. We are integrating IoT sensors across our production lines to monitor reflow oven temperature profiles, solder paste viscosity, and component placement accuracy in real time. AI-powered AOI and X-ray systems are being deployed to predict potential defects before they occur, reducing waste and improving yield rates.
Environmental sustainability is no longer optional. STHL is actively reducing its carbon footprint by transitioning to energy-efficient reflow ovens, implementing closed-loop water recycling systems for PCB cleaning, and sourcing eco-friendly packaging materials. We assist our clients in designing for environment (DFE) to ensure products are easily recyclable at the end of their lifecycle.

STHL is certified under IATF 16949 (Automotive Quality Management), ISO 13485 (Medical Devices), ISO 9001 (Quality Management), and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management). All our assembly processes comply with RoHS and REACH standards, and we manufacture to IPC-A-610 Class II and Class III standards depending on client specifications.
Yes, our facility is designed for high-mix, variable-volume production. We have dedicated lines for rapid prototyping and NPI (New Product Introduction), as well as fully automated high-speed SMT lines optimized for high-volume mass production. This allows us to support our clients through the entire product lifecycle.
We source components directly from original component manufacturers (OCMs) or authorized global distributors (such as Arrow, Avnet, Digi-Key, and Mouser). For hard-to-source or obsolete parts, we use pre-vetted secondary market suppliers and perform rigorous incoming inspections, including electrical testing, X-ray inspection, and decapsulation to verify authenticity.
We employ a multi-layered testing strategy including Solder Paste Inspection (SPI), 3D Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) before and after reflow, X-Ray inspection for BGA/QFN packages, In-Circuit Testing (ICT) to check for electrical continuity, and Functional Testing (FCT) to simulate the board's real-world operation. We also offer environmental stress screening (ESS) upon request.
