What are the lead times for prototype SMT assemblies?

Typically, prototype runs are completed within 3 to 7 working days once we confirm the PCB layout and receive all components. For expedited projects, we offer a 24-to-48-hour turn service for quick-turn PCBs and simple component layouts.

How do you verify the quality of sourced components?

We purchase components directly from authorized distributors (like Arrow, Avnet, DigiKey, and Mouser) or trusted, qualified local component channels. For high-risk parts, we use microscopic, electrical, and X-ray analysis to verify authenticity and avoid counterfeit materials.

Can I supply my own components (Consigned SMT Assembly)?

Yes. We support fully consigned (you supply all components), partially consigned (you supply key ICs and we source the remainder), and turnkey options (we source all materials based on your Bill of Materials).

What files do you need to generate a quote?

To quote your SMT assembly, we require Gerber files (in RS-274X or ODB++ format), an detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) in Excel format (including manufacturer part numbers, designators, packages, and quantities), and a Pick-and-Place (Centroid) coordinates file.

Do you test prototypes before shipment?

Yes, every PCB assembly goes through Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) to verify component presence, orientation, and solder joint quality. We also offer 3D X-Ray inspection for BGA/QFN packages, In-Circuit Testing (ICT), and full functional testing (FCT) based on customer-provided test plans.

How do you protect intellectual property (IP)?

We sign Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) before design files are shared. All design files are stored on secure local servers with restricted access, and our facilities are monitored to restrict physical access to raw designs.

What are your minimum order requirements (MOQ)?

We have no MOQ for prototype assemblies. We can assemble a single board for initial validation, allowing you to test layouts before scaling up to mass production.

Are your processes compliant with lead-free standards?

Yes, our processes are set up for lead-free wave soldering, reflow soldering, and hand soldering. We verify that all components, PCBs, and solders comply with RoHS and REACH regulations.
