Can STHL handle prototype runs as well as high-volume production?
Yes, we support the entire product lifecycle. We have dedicated NPI (New Product Introduction) processes to handle quick-turn prototype runs (typically 10 to 100 pieces) to validate designs. Once validated, we can seamlessly transition the project to our high-volume automated SMT lines for mass production.
What testing services do you perform in-house?
We offer a comprehensive suite of testing services, including 3D Solder Paste Inspection (SPI), Automated Optical Inspection (AOI), 3D X-Ray inspection (for BGAs and leadless components), In-Circuit Testing (ICT), and custom Functional Testing (FCT). We can also perform environmental stress screening (ESS) and thermal cycling upon request.
How do you protect my intellectual property (IP)?
We take IP protection very seriously. We sign strict Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) before receiving any design files. Internally, access to customer Gerber files and BOMs is restricted to authorized project engineers via secure, monitored servers. Furthermore, photography is strictly prohibited on our production floor, and our facility is monitored 24/7 by CCTV.
